Created by the renowned Spanish golf architect Pepe Gancedo in 1985, Parque da Floresta is one of Europe's most spectacular golf course and is the ideal location for a golf holiday in the Algarve, and is located just 15 minutes beyond the historic town of Lagos. This is the most westerly Golf Course on the Algarve.
Football legends such as David Seaman, Ian Rush and Paul Scholes are all regulars at Parque da Floresta, having bought properties in this unspoilt part of Portugal. Everything about the place oozes class, from the Luxury villas with pools and charming village houses.
One round will not be sufficient to appreciate its imaginative design, and the course has improved considerably over the past two years. There has been a considerable investment made in the course, including the addition of a Golf Academy and Spa. The redesign of several holes, and a further commitment has been made to establish Parque da Floresta as the best maintained and manicured golf course on the Algarve.
Less than an hour's drive from Faro Airport and 20 minutes from Lagos. You should also check out the famous lighthouse towering above the cliffs at nearby sagres. We recommend you get out and about - there's lots to see in the area, with the historic port of Lagos nearby.
