About the Area:
 A small resort for a relaxing holiday while being close enough for the nightclubs of Praia da Rocha for the night, and the historic sights of Lagos for the day. Most of Alvor focuses around Torralta beach, a 1KM stretch of great golden sands with sun loungers, umbrellas and pedalos for hire.
Fifteen minutes walk away is the old town, where the fishermen bring in the catches from sea and the locals gather in the fish for the distribution to the local restaurants.
