About the Area:
The Town has something for everyone it is one of the prettiest towns in the Algarve with an active fishing port and an old centre still enclosed by the original protective walls dating back to the 14th and 16th centuries.
The narrow cobbled streets and a new marina play host to a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Some of the finest beaches on the Algarve, like Praia de Dona Ana, which is a 25 minute walk from the centre of the town, Praia do Camilo and Meia Praia, a 4-km stretch of sand east of Lagos.
