The Estoril Golf Course is full of history and is located in one of Europe's oldest established tourist resorts. West of Lisbon and overlooking the Atlantic, the Estoril Coast has a mild climate, so that you can enjoy your favourite sport all year round.

Overlooking Estoril and the sea, the 5,262 metre-long course is set amongst eucalyptus, pine and mimosa trees, giving it a uniquely colourful touch.

The course was designer by Mackenzie Ross, and demands excellent tactics. The visually stunning par 3 holes, although they vary in length, all pose particular challenges.

The Estoril Golf Club has been here since 1945. Two of the most important tournaments in the Portuguese golfing calendar have been held frequently on this course: the Portuguese Open 20 times and the International Amateur Championship 62 times.

The splendid clubhouse has a pro shop, a bar, changing rooms, a swimming pool and a restaurant, with a long veranda and a superb view, where a variety of tasty Portuguese dishes are served.

The caddies at the Estoril Golf Course are among the most experienced at any golf course, and are always available to advise on the most difficult shots.

Driving Instructions:

From Lisbon Airport take the A5 to exit 9 (19kms) N6-8 for Estoril-Sintra and turn right onto the EN9 to Sintra. The course is 500 meters on your left at the top of the hill.
